COME BACK SOON FOR UPDATES FROM PHILLY TRI AND MY CURRENT TRAINING....
I've been a bit under the weather for the past few weeks, but I'm back training and ready for Chicago. I'll have updates (and pictures of my new Veritas Bike!!!) shortly!
Triple T!
It's my new favorite race and it's a killer.... Check out my race report, along with a report from Columbia on the race reports page. Pictures will be up shortly! It's back to training for me until the Philly Tri in the middle of June.
ISM Saddle Sponsor
Welcome to my newest sponsor, ISM Seats who make the Adamo Racing Saddle. It keeps me fast and comfortable no mater where I'm riding. Check them out at www.ismseat.com.
ST. ANTHONY'S:
My traditional season opener has been St. Anthony's for the past three years. This year it was my third race of the year and I was feeling the effects of three races in four weeks. Check out updated race reports and pictures from the race!
PATCO CHAMPIONSHIPS:
I had a rough swim (literally and figuratively) and down in Mexico over the weekend. I ended up 26th in the race, but was able to finish the bike right with the lead pack. I guess I still need to learn to run! I'm hoping to use these early races to get myeself into top racing shape. St. Anthony's is coming up and that is usually my first race of the year! My race reports page and pictures have been updated. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive this season so far.
2008 TRIATHLON SEASON HAS BEGUN!:
I started my season with the Lima, Peru Continental Cup on April 6th. It was much earlier than I am used to racing, but it was a great experience and a solid first race. My race report and pictures are up for you to enjoy! My next race is in Mazatlan, Mexico where I hope to keep up my streak of top 10 finishes! Stay tuned!
2007 USAT ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!:
I have been offically awarded the 2007 USAT Elite Rookie of the Year! I am honored to have won this award and will use it as motivation for the coming year. Thank you to everyone who has helped me get this far and continue to help me reach for my goals. I'm training hard and trying to maintain over 50 miles on the run, 200 on the bike and 20k in the pool. My first race is only 12 weeks away (april 19th)!!!
U.S. MARATHON OLYMPIC TRIALS:
Congratulations to Josh Ordway on his Performance at the 2007 Olympic Marathon Trials. His time of 2:18.10 earned him 21st place. A great accomplishment considering he is in his second year of medical school! I run with Josh a few times a week and he has helped me take the first steps to becoming a better runner. Congratulations and thank you Josh!
COLUMBUS MARATHON:
Congratulations to Diana Stein on her first marathon. I had the privilege to run with her the last few miles. Great Job Diana!
TRAINING UPDATE:
I've been running pretty consistently and working up to 60 miles next week. The weather has been great in Dayton and I've been able to get out on the bike almost every day as well. I'll keep posting updates on the "Training" page as I progress though the winter.
AJ FOSTER'S HALF IRONMAN TRAINING:
AJ is hard at work training for his first half Ironman in Florida in May. I am helping him prepare and we are working together to stay on track though the cold winters. Check out AJ's web page at: www.followfoster.com. Keep it up AJ!
GRATUITOUS FAMILY PICTURE:
Here is a picture of my wife Ashley and our dog Ivan. I couldn't do what I do without Ashley's support. Ivan really doesn't help, but he can be a good running partner for a few miles every once and a while... Check out more pictures on the "pictures" page.
